Testimony by Elizabeth Roberts
In 2014, I had cause for concern when I discovered a very small lump on the bridge of my nose. I went to my doctor and he looked at it and said it looked suspicious and referred me to a Skin Specialist Surgeon. After the skin specialist examined the lump on the bridge of my nose she then took a biopsy of it, the results came back indicating a small cancerous tumor, that would need to be removed quickly. The specialist explained she would need to cut the full length of the bridge of my nose to allow for the perimeters or margins to be clear of any roots that have traveled under the skin. I felt it was a nightmare to even think about it, but at the same time I knew I had to trust in the Lord for my healing needs.
In March of 2014, I had the major operation to the bridge of my nose, but I was not put under anaesthetic for this operation, I was given 5 needles ( large) in around the bridge of my nose. It was the most painful operation I have ever had. The Skin specialist said after the operation I could expect to have a black eye, bruised cheek, and a very swollen face. I prayed to the Lord before hand and asked for no black eye, swollen face or bruising, and speedy healing.
My prayer was answered and I had no visible signs of the operation on my face, the after pain was minimal and the healing was very fast, I was amazed at what God had done through His Word! At the end of the fist week I returned to the specialist to have the stitches removed, it was then I was told the results from the operation showed they had not got it all ( the cancer) and I would need to have the operation over again. Everything in me just wanted to scream loudly in horror! the thought of going through this operation again was almost too much!
In June 2014, I had the second operation on the bridge of my nose, same as before, 5 (large) needles in and around the bridge of my nose, incredible pain as before. 16 hours after the operation there were no visible signs of the operation to my nose, very little after pain, and the healing was very fast. The skin specialist was amazed as she made the comment I must be one of those lucky people who heal quickly, she wished all her patients were the same. I returned one week later, had the stitches removed and given the all clear from the results of the operation.
I knew God had showed His Glory yet again in my body and in my life, because I believed in His Word, and put it to work knowing and expecting to see the results. Our Amazing God does not disappoint those who love him. Praise Him in all His Glory.
