Jacob had twelve sons and their names put together is the hidden gospel revealed through it. Its amazing how God hid all these wonderful truths in simple names and stories. Here are the names and their meanings:
Reuben – Behold, A Son is born to us
Simeon – One who hears
Levi – Attached
Judah – Praise the Lord
Dan – He judged
Naphtali – My Struggle
Gad – Good fortune
Asher – Happiness
Issachar – Reward
Zebulun – Honour
Joseph – Add to my family
Benjamin – Son of righteousness
This is what the collection of their names says:
BEHOLD, A SON IS BORN UNTO US, ONE WHO HEARS US AND BECAME ATTACHED UNTO US.
PRAISE THE LORD, HE JUDGED OUR STRUGGLE AND BROUGHT US GOOD FORTUNE, HAPPINESS, REWARD, HONOR; HE ADDED US TO HIS FAMILY AND CALLED US THE SONS OF RIGHTEOUSNESS.
This completely blew off my mind when I discovered it. Jesus Christ is not just a mere name we mention in our sermons or discussions, He is the Content, the Context, the Text, Paragraph, the Remark, the Mark and the Outline of the entire Bible.”

Your enemies are behind you, because they are pursuing you;
You are Ahead, because you are pursuing God!
Your current circumstances do not define you, nor do they dictate your future. People might say things like “Why are you saying God will do this or that; it doesn’t look like He’s doing anything for you? It’s because those people are either unacquainted with the Lord or they see His mighty hand upon you, & tremble at the thought of you moving ahead!
Remember this ….
As a baby, Moses was placed in a basket, & placed in a river with Crocodiles! He survived! Coincidence? Fast forward ….God’s people (The Israelites) were in a temporary place (kinda like you) , when Moses went before the same kind of enemy (who’s thinks he’s holding you back) & delivered this message from God: “Let my people go”! The Israelites walked out of there, & took the enemy’s gold with them!
They were hotly pursued by pharaoh & his associates; who soon received a cold drowning. The Israelites continued pursuing God, eventually entering a Land flowing with Milk & Honey, & are still there today!
God is so big that your enemies should never be a concern. If your enemies fail to repent, God should be a concern for them! Yet, God gave pharaoh & his army more than one chance to repent; but they refused. That’s why God says “pray for your enemies, bless those who persecute you. For God doesn’t want them to drown, & neither do you. Enemies drown themselves by failure to turn back from their wrongful pursuit! As for you ….
You will walk through on dry ground by pursuing God, because God is with you, God is Love, & Love always protects ….

Do you swear to tell the truth, nothing but the truth so help you God? Most of us are familiar with that statement when a person takes the witness stand in court. Question! Do we really know what the truth is? First of all let’s understand there is NO truth apart from the Word of God.
Today, we have a culture infested with bias, hypocrisy, deception and indoctrination. If not careful, even the “believer” can get caught up in the whirlwind of culture. Social media has played an intricate part of what people perceive, believe and receive as truth, not always good. Where did that person circulating the view get their information? What’s the attitude of that idea or message, what does it promote? If you’re a believer in the Messiah then these are no brainer questions we should ask ourselves. We absolutely ARE living in the last days before the soon return of our Lord Jesus Christ, as such, were told in scripture what the world would look like and how were to live. (1 Timothy 4 & Ephesians 4). We should not take scripture out of context twisting it to make a particular point.
Let’s do a self-check and see if we took the witness stand in the House of God Courtroom, how we’d answer: here we go:
As a US citizen you have the right to object and refute any government authority? Do you agree or disagree.
A Peace agreement has been in the works for years between the Israelis’ and Palestinians, do you agree they are entitled to have a state of their own?
Scriptures tell us we should welcome the stranger, care for widows and orphans, so that being said, should that cancel out having borders to our country?
Just a few critical issues our nation faces that many people seem to be confused about. We should remember when looking at scripture to see what the common theme and pattern throughout the scriptures say and what group of people the bible is talking about, the Jews, gentiles or the nations. Remember too, although we may have rights as a citizen from the country we live in, as believers, our government and authority comes from Heaven above which means our response to the way we live and conduct ourselves should reflect that.
Make no mistake; the scriptures have something to say about borders, about authority, about dividing up the land of Israel as it does about every issue. We must have a discerning ear to know what truth is; the enemy tries to provoke our emotions, to join the bandwagon of radical behavior and keep us divided, in discord and disillusioned. Only when we look to the Word of God for the answers and clarity we need, will we truly know the “truth” and be set free from the lies, deception, and bondages of the enemy.

My son and I used to discuss what these initials meant when he was younger and one day he made me something concerning it. Of course we know that WWJD means “what would Jesus do?” ” My son made me a sign that said WWJS?
What would Jesus say? He said “mom, we need to think about this too.” I have never forgotten this. Today, this all came back to me. How many times do we stop and think like this before we go somewhere, or eat, dress, talk, and so on? Ephesians 5:1 says: Therefore be imitators of God [copy Him and follow His example], as well-beloved children [imitate their father].
So if we get angry, or our feeling hurt, or feel offended, before we say anything, we need to think “what would Jesus do? What would He say?” Before going out, we need to stop and think if Jesus would go to the same place. Concerning what we watch and listen to, we need to think about if Jesus would watch that movie or listen to those lyrics in the music. We all need to do this, everyone of us. There have been times when I didn’t stop and think about what movie I was watching and as it progressed, I would feel the Spirit living inside of me and I would feel sad and knew that I had grieved the Holy Spirit which I never want to do.
Ephesians 4:29-31 explains it:
29 Let no foul or polluting language, nor evil word nor unwholesome or worthless talk [ever] come out of your mouth, but only such [speech] as is good and beneficial to the spiritual progress of others, as is fitting to the need and the occasion, that it may be a blessing and give grace (God’s favor) to those who hear it.
30 And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God [do not offend or vex or sadden Him], by Whom you were sealed (marked, branded as God’s own, secured) for the day of redemption (of final deliverance through Christ from evil and the consequences of sin).
31 Let all bitterness and indignation and wrath (passion, rage, bad temper) and resentment (anger, animosity) and quarreling (brawling, clamor, contention) and slander (evil-speaking, abusive or blasphemous language) be banished from you, with all malice (spite, ill will, or baseness of any kind).
No matter what, let’s all do our very best to always think on and meditate on God’s word, which are His thoughts. We know that God does no,t and cannot lie, so everything that He has said we can trust Him. May God bless you all. Think on and learn how very much He loves you:)
May God bless you,
