The Bible tells us to forgive one another and love one another deeply with a pure heart. When we choose to forgive, we release that person from guilt permanently and unconditionally and we operate as if nothing bad ever happened between us. You’re to purposely forget as well as forgive. After all, the Word says that love covers a multitude of sins.
Forgiveness is a choice just like love, either you’re going to do it or you’re not. Whatever you decide or what you choose will determine how you walk the rest of that scene out!
Personally? I choose life so that me and my seed may live! I choose the promises that God has given me and the finality of the finished work of Jesus Christ on the cross in providing absolutely everything I need in every area of my life. Faith worketh by love, so I choose also love this day!
One of the most precious people in my life once said to me “I don’t understand you, you only see the good, in everything, you refuse to see anything bad”. Well, for me that was not a bad thing! It was the glory of God! And that, is no ordinary love, but the love that was shed for all of us so that we could choose that abundant life that Jesus died to give us.
Peter denied Jesus 3 times, and when He came back He simply loved Peter. Jesus didn’t take time to see how it WAS or bring up what Peter had done before He went to the cross, He loved him! What Peter did was unthinkable to many of us, and, when he denied the Lord he really went all out and he even cursed when he did it, he was passionate about the denial. But what Jesus did on the cross, put a stop to what had happened dead in its tracts as Peter accepted the Love and forgiveness that was provided by what Jesus did for him and then he was able to move forward in that love and forgiveness!

1 Peter 1:22

Deuteronomy 30:19
This day I call the heavens and the earth as witnesses against you that I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses. Now choose life, so that you and your children may live
Galatians 5:6
For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision has any value. The only thing that counts is faith expressing itself through love.
