I Place Before You, Life and Death

As a health coach I suppose my perspective on food and lifestyle habits is often different than someone whose interests and gifts lie in other areas.
When I read Deuteronomy 30:19 and it says, I place before you life and death, therefore choose life so that you and your family may live, I immediately think of three things:
The thoughts we think, the words we speak, and the choices we make every single day of our lives. Either our thoughts and words are life producing or they are not. And our daily choices, including the food we eat, are life producing or they are not.
So today as you quickly grab your breakfast, prepare for lunch, or sit down for dinner, consider Deuteronomy 30 and apply its principle to what you are about to consume.
Is it food that supports optimal cellular function or will it oppose it, and cause it to slow down and lose its ability to function as God designed it?
Going against its design and purpose, causes a body to become more tired and fatigued, sick more often, and develop unnecessary chronic diseases.
I encourage you today to eat healthy, and agree with God and choose life, so that you and your family may live.
